RON WEIBE MEMBER OF THE KELOWNA KINSMEN
Bio
Ron arrived in Kelowna on September 29, 1997 and attended his first Kelowna
Kinsmen General Meeting on October 3rd (5 days later). He remained an
active member; going from Bulletin Editor with fellow Kin Dean where they
won the National Award to President of the club twice. Ron ran the Kelowna
Kinsmen slo-pitch league for four years and has participated actively
in Bingo, Golf Swap, Pub Putt over the years, and has chaired most club
events. Ron has been a licensed Strata/Property Manager since 2005; he
was an integral part in the development of a strata management division
for a local real estate firm prior to moving over to Okanagan Strata Management.
Prior to his career in strata management Ron spent twenty-five years in
the Hotel/Hospitality Industry in a management capacity throughout Western
Canada which gave him the tools and experience to be a successful Strata
Manager and Kinsmen member.
In Ron’s free time he enjoys, Kelowna Rockets games, golfing, camping,
quading and enjoying his new motorcycle. He also was a licensed pyrotechnic
and enjoyed being able to occasionally blow things up. Most of all he
appreciates spending time with his family, fellow Kin, other friends and
his two miniature schnauzers (babies).
